The Boxing
Beagle...
"I
have a 5-year-old beagle named Copper who has
learned to box.
One day, I was playing rough with him,
putting my hand around his nose and pushing his
head down.
He would playfully growl and put his
front paws on my hand to push them off his face.
Then, I would hold my hands up in front
of me, then grab him.
Copper started to understand that when I
held my hands up in front of me, he would get
his nose pushed down.
So, he would put his front paws up on my
hands and push me first!
Now, whenever I play with him and put my
hands up in front of me, he’ll put his paws up
and push my hands away.
It looks like we’re boxing!"

My Super-Smart Papillion I have a super-smart dog. He's a French breed called Papillion. We first taught him 2 sit, stay, and our command 2 release him from stay. Then he learned 2 lay down. He learned all that quickly. We then taught him 2 roll over. He learned that pretty fast. After that was shake. During roll over and shake my brother and me taught him how 2 hop up on his hind legs. That took just a little bit of time. One day at dinner we told him 2 do something new and he hopped up on his hind legs and danced in circles. That night he also hopped across the room. That took just the night for him 2 do it on command. A few months ago he was taught 2 reverse his roll overs. Last month we got him 2 climb a ladder, but only for food. Along the way he learned 2 recognize cat, dog, go, and squirrel. He also found out how "Go" is spelled. He's like Eager Star. Eager 2 please. ~Animal Crazy
